I would be glad to tell you the results of the project. If you find anything that could assist me with my research project, please let me know. Thank you.
Keanu: You are most welcome and good luck with your research project. If possible, let us know the result of the study. Thanks.
I want to study this particular fish because I have previously worked with Porcupine Pufferfish in my classroom until recently because our Pufferfish died from old age. I was interested with their behavior the most because I observed how it imprinted to one of my friends and let him pet and hold it. I haven't really thought deep in the hypothesis much but these questions have helped. Thank you .

Yes, of course. You need to know:
Why do you wish to study this particular fish and not others species of fish?
What is so unique about the pufferfish?
What is the problem you wish to solve and what is the hypothesis you wish to suggest?
For example, and related specifically to pufferfishes:
Why Do pufferfish blow up?
And, what is the mechanism by which they do so?
You can ask questions related to pufferfish toxin (as you may already know, Tetrodotoxin, a chemical present in the pufferfish, is a powerful neurotoxin that can cause death in nearly 60% of the humans that ingest it).
Or, you can ask questions related to pufferfish DNA research, since it is known that the study of pufferfish DNA helps revealing answers related to other organisms and human beings.
For example: Prickly pufferfish could hold the key to why humans do not continually replace their teeth and may lead to advances in dental therapies.
Do you find that the above questions and suggestions are helpful?
Please let us know and we'll be more than happy to continue and help you with you research questions.
Have a nice weekend,
Da A-Team ;)
