Second Life (SL) is a virtual world accessible via the Internet. A free client program called the Second Life Viewer enables its users, called Residents, to interact with each other through avatars. We care to use SL for aquaculture education.

After your query the other day I was wondering if it is possible to make a small aquaria that is self sustaining with corals.

At Nanakuli High School on the Waianae Coast there is a teacher named:
Eric Whiteman – Nanakuli HS

He has the equipment to set up a mariculture operation. He lacks funds to do the electrical hookup and to drill a well. He used to run the aquaculture operation at Campbell High School in Ewa. Eric would like to raise hard corals! He even has the assent of Dave Gulko.
Is this an opportunity to teach High School students so that you 'grow' cadre who can push your initiatives farther and make part of our cultural ethos?
UP the coast at Waianae High School Dana Hoppe runs their mariculture program:

Could I use some of your photos in testimony submitted to our state legislature defending offshore aquaculture? I'm looking to use shots of p damicornis to illustrate that Integrated multi-trophic aquaculture could include sensitive species in a integrated relationship with a finfish farm.
Some people don't want offshore mariculture under any curcumstances.
