Entered the Aquaculture Industry with the State sponsored prawn industry: Big Island Prawns, Inc. Hawi, HI 1977-1982.
Observation of the algae blooms & crashes in prawn ponds, became interested in algae farming. Designed an algal photobioreactor. Formed PSI, Inc., Kawaihae, HI 1984-1986
T&D of "PAR-MAXtm" PhotoBioReactor.
What are your interests related to aquaculture?
Develop a Scaleable Standardized Alga Production Plant, integrated with a WTE Platform or Industrial Plant utilizing carbon-capture, CO2, Power, Heating & Cooling in support of the Alga Platform. The integrated Plants producing a zero-carbon footprint, Effluents & Gases from both Plants in support of intensive truck-farming and Mariculture; a "Polyculture System."
