Welcome to the CTSA AquacultureHub Group!

The Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture (CTSA) is one of five regional aquaculture centers in the United States established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The regional aquaculture centers integrate individual and institutional expertise and resources in support of aquaculture development.

Information about the research we fund is available on our website. If you have any questions about past, current, or future CTSA-funded projects, or if you would like to be connected with a particular researcher, please do not hesitate to ask.

We are planning a lot of exciting activities for 2010 to get more people interested in aquaculture, so please check back often for announcements and information!

This is great news. I enjoyed reading Bamidgeh during my earlier research years but have been too busy to farming the past three decades to do so. This open access status will allow me to again keep track of Israeli aquaculture research.

I am the editor in chief of the Israeli Journal of Aquaculture - Bamidgeh (IJA). Starting from January 2010, our association, Society of Israeli Aquaculture and Marine Biotechnology (SIAMB) together with the journal's editing team decided to publish the IJA as an Open Access (OA) publication, freely accessible to all registered persons and institutions. This change was adopted with the conviction that scientific publications should be accessible to all and that such a concept should be backed up by the general aquaculture public.
